Accounts Payable Specialist
Process invoices (debits and credits) while ensuring accuracy with payment terms, discounts, invoice amount, PO match, or charge info entry. Work exception reports to resolve holds. Initiate communication with other departments to clear exceptions and follow up until holds are resolved. Position requires interaction (verbal and written) with many departments throughout the hospital system as well as vendors. Respond timely to other inquiries. Prepare checks for mailing and assemble/file vouchers. Identify and report year end accruals. Special projects assigned periodically. Oral and written communication skills essential. Must be able to work efficiently and have good problem solving skills. Computer proficiency necessary.
Required:
High school diploma; Accounts Payable and/or Supply Chain experience required.
Preferred:
Oracle experience and knowledge of the procure to pay cycle.
