Responsible for delivering reliable and scalable features and enhancements web applications. Manage front-end and back-end technologies as well as code quality and maintainability; write code in Java and JavaScript and learn new computer languages that will be utilized to maintain web applications. Implement the Spring core framework into the maintenance of the web applications in addition to improving design patterns, domain driven design, and test driven development. Will also use version control systems including CVS and SVN. Will implement new techniques using Java/J2EE, JAXWS Web Services, Struts, Spring, Oracle, Hibernate, and WebSphere MQ.
Location: Troy, MI and various other undetermined work site locations throughout the U.S.
Salary: $112,000 per year.
Education: Masters Computer Science, or in a related field of study (will accept equivalent foreign degree).
Training: None
Experience: One (1) year in the position above, as a Software Developer, Programmer Analyst, or in a related occupation.
Experience must include work with Java/J2EE, JAXWS Web Services, Struts, Spring, Oracle, Hibernate, and WebSphere MQ.
Will also accept any suitable combination of education, training, and/or experience.
