Responsibilities include: Developing and maintaining HyperXtrude solver suite which is used to simulate manufacturing processes such as metal extrusion, metal rolling, friction stir welding, resin transfer molding and polymer extrusion. Understanding and formulating mathematical governing equations describing manufacturing processes. Developing finite element solution strategies for simulating manufacturing processes. Understanding technical details of the processes and implement new features and functionalities in HyperXtrude solvers. Developing complex software in Fortran, C and C+
languages following coding standards, software development methodology and release processes. Utilizing software engineering tools such as compilers, debuggers in the software development process. Writing interfaces to external libraries. Building and assuring the quality of the software on different operating systems. Preparing technical documentation. Reviewing the manuals and training materials for technical accuracy. Collaborating and adding value through participation in peer code reviews.
Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering. Academic program or experience must have included: Finite Element implementation; Continuum Mechanics; Constitutive Modeling; Computational Fluid Dynamics; Thermodynamics; C, C++, Fortran.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
