Responsibilities include: Developing and maintaining software test environment for electric machine and power electronics control systems. Developing Hardware in the Loop (HIL) from requirements gathering to implementation, testing, finalization, issue tracking and quality assurance. Designing hardware interface on Opal RT HIL system. Modeling subsystem and software interface. Developing test-automation framework software using Python and supplied APIs. Designing hardware interface, Simulink modeling and software interface to support multiple electric machines and power electronics control systems. Implementing embedded software source code in C and executing software test cases and release software into production.
M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering & 12 mo. experience in the job offered and/or as a Programmer Analyst. Academic program or experience must have included: MatLab; Designing hardware & software interfaces; Visual Basic and Python scripting languages (.Net, MS Visual Studio).
