FEA Modeler/Analyst - Vehicle Structures Reliability CAE

(Troy, MI, or other unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.). Responsibilities include: Constructing CAE models and conducting analysis of doors, hood and tailgate closing simulations. Constructing CAE models and conducting analysis of complete vehicle durability simulations. Constructing CAE models and conducting analysis of various other strength and durability requirements (i.e. Jackup point strength, towhook strength etc.). Conducting CAE analysis using NASTRAN and/or Abaqus. Constructing meshes and building models using HyperMesh and/or ANSA. Analyzing problems and recommending countermeasures. Studying correlations to test and make recommendations on how to improve.
M.S. in Mechanical Engineering & 12 mo. experience in the job offered and/or as CAE Engineer. Academic program or experience must have included: Abaqus; ADAMS; ANSA; HyperWorks; SimLab; FE Safe.
