Oversee and provide technical support for the SAP Business Enterprise System; Supervise and lead the analysis, development and maintenance of the system in a manner consistent with Kostal requirements and Kostal standards; Perform analysis, customization, development, and writing functional specifications for the following SAP Modules: Warehouse/Inventory Management (Handling Unit Management), Quality Management, Material Management, Sales and Distribution, Production Planning, Business Data Warehouse; Complete Logistics Supply Chain Management knowledge, Research and analyze processes and application systems to develop an understanding of internal and/or external customer business requirements; Research and develop tactical and strategic system solutions for existing business processes as well as develop new enterprise processes to streamline operational performance; Discuss and evaluate new proposals with the user departments; Test and implement new systems (SAP modules or external interfaces); Coordinate and track the prompt diagnosis and resolution of system issues that have an impact on the immediate companys operational performance, communicate solutions to internal/external customers; Evaluate user requirements and propose optimal solutions; Coordinate with the application vendor/development team to implement solutions, resolve problems and trouble tickets; Configure and test KOSTAL specific application programs; Test and control changes in the operational environment; Investigate, implement, and maintain correction and lead recovery processes and activities for the application or data; Follow up and administer SAP application performance on the network and operating system during development, modification, and operation; Administer SAP application roles and security.
Location: 350 Stephenson Highway, Troy, MI 48083
Salary: $108,909 per year.
Education: Bachelors Degree in Computer Engineering or in a related field of study (will accept equivalent foreign degree).
Training: None
Experience: Four (4) years in the position above, as an SAP Specialist, or in a related occupation.
Experience must include Logistics Supply Chain Management and analysis, customization, development, and writing functional specifications for the following SAP Modules: Warehouse/Inventory Management (Handling Unit Management), Quality Management, Material Management, Sales and Distribution, Production Planning.
Will also accept any suitable combination of education, training, and/or experience.
