Our client is a FORTUNE 500 tier one automotive supplier actively pursuing a Senior Buyer/Planner for their organization due to the continued growth and profitability of the organization. This company was named in 2013 as an AUTOMOTIVE NEWS TOP SUPPLIER and was also recognized by JD POWER as a TOP CULTURE COMPANY. This position will report to the Senior Purchasing Manager of the organization who is looking to begin the interview process ASAP.
Responsibilities for the Master Scheduler
Forcasting, planning, and scheduling of purchased materials for our manufacturing plant.
Planning and maintaining accurate inventory levels and control to assure 100% customer service levels while minimizing the corporation's financial exposure
Quoting, purchasing, and ordering of raw materials, components, assemblies, tooling and equipment.
Ensuring on-time delivery of purchases as well as timely and accurate purchase order maintenance.
Release purchase orders and establish contracts in accordance with Corporate policies
Requirements for the Master Scheduler
Candidate should have degree for consideration
Candidate should have at least 3-5 years of Materials Planning/Scheduling
Excellent verbal and written communication skills is necessary for consideration
