Job Summary
This position will be responsible for the servicing and supporting company client base for all day-to-day service and supply issues as well as handling marketing support and client service issues for the group benefits department.
Primary Responsibilities
Regularly scheduled phone contact with clients
Provide Benefits Manager with a list of 180-day and 90-day renewals
Assist with new case submission issues
Prepare and coordinate print material for employee meetings and enrollments
Work with Benefits Manager on marketing of new and renewal business to include, but not limited to:
Create and prepare RFPs and supporting information to be sent to carriers
Follow up with carriers/track responses etc
Spreadsheet marketing results from carriers
Assist in preparation of new and renewal proposal presentations
Track new and lost business
Assist Benefits Manager with claims and service issues
Attend annual client enrollment meetings when requested
Coordinate new client implementation
Update and maintain data base system
Perform other duties as requested
Maintaining current knowledge of marketplace and available coverages and carriers
Secondary Responsibilities
Maintain client files
Maintain database of census and related information on all accounts
Coordinate annual enrollments with clients and vendors
Assist with project/team work as requested
Maintaining group reference files
Main office phone support/back-up
Essential Job Functions

Good computer skills (MS Office_tested)
Local travel

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
