Temp to possible hire will report to the Office Services Manager, and perform multiple tasks, which include copying projects, sorting and distributing all mail, faxes, and supplies to appropriate personnel, ordering supplies, control shredding and central service operations.
Must be able to perform successfully in a fast-paced, intellectually intense, service-oriented environment and to interpret rules and guidelines flexibly to enhance the business and in keeping with Company values and culture.
Please note that this position is not restricted solely to the responsibilities listed below and that the job scope and responsibilities are subject to change.
-Main reception duties, including answering phones, greeting guests, and ordering transportation for guests
-Maintain office address list and contact list
-Receive and distribute mail, faxes, messages, paperwork, and other documents
-Sort and process all mailing services, including FedEx and general postage
-Complete large copy projects
-Maintain shredding
-Receive, deliver and monitor office supplies
-Maintain office supply inventories
-Monitor working order of office equipment and places service calls when necessary
-Assist all staff on use of office equipment, including fax, copiers and coiler
-Provide errand and delivery service outside of office as directed by supervisor
-Maintain clean and orderly central service, copy rooms, conference rooms and kitchen area
-Printing and preparing Power Pointe decks and gathering slides for monthly staff meetings
Perform other duties as assigned or required
Education requirements, certifications, such as:
High school degree required/undergrad degree preferred
Technical / computer / job specific skills that are required, such as:
Intermediate MS Office experience, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Experience with relevant office equipment (copier, fax and mail equipment)
Experience in answering phones and general reception
Familiarity with U.S. Postal regulations, and special mailing requirements
Able to perform basic mathematical calculations
Proper verbal and written communication skills
Physical demands that are required, such as: lifting, etc.
Safe working procedures
Shared office space
High degree of walking/standing
Ability to lift and deliver large packages
Interpersonal/ communication skills that are required, such as:

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
