Responsibilities Include:
- Designs, develops, debugs, documents, and tests applications
- Creates effective, efficient designs that meet scheduled release requirements and
constraints employing appropriate levels of available technology
- Analyzes product requirements for release plans, creating clear, complete definitions that
can be subsequently mapped to design specifications
- Refines detail requirements and converts to development tasks
- Generates unit level test plans for designed features/modifications
- Leads concept, functional and technical design meetings
- Regularly assists in setting project task priorities
- Participates in design and source code review meetings; Works with development
managers to identify risk and ensure project meets its objectives
- Effectively communicates concepts and designs via UML
- Participates in on-site client installation and support activities to further the
understanding of technical and functional implementations to the products' code base
Candidate Requirements
You have:
- Demonstrated ability to architect and build enterprise scale software applications
- Clear understanding of, and have participated in, a structured SDLC process
- Ability to multi-task and work in very high pressure situations
- A positive can-do attitude; low-maintenance, solid interpersonal skills, excellent written
and verbal communications skills
- Capable and willing to serving multiple roles (i.e. Architect, Developer, Tester)
- A minimum of 3-5 years of related experience and minimum of Bachelors degree in
computer
Science or a related field.
- Thorough understanding of advanced development principles, transaction and state
management
- Experience with state-of-the-art design and development techniques (i.e. Agile
programming)
Strong experience in the following technologies:
- HTML/CSS/Java Script, DOJO Toolkit, Spring Framework MVC, JSON,
Velocity
- Ajax, REST, Hibernate, Subversion, Websphere, RAD
- Java EE Architecture & Design patterns, Servlets, JSP
- Build automation tools (Ant)
- Solid understanding of SQL databasesEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
