Skills and
Experience:
Bachelor's degree in
computer
science or equivalent, with Minimum of 6 years of experience.
At least 3
years of employment experience in embedded software development for Automotive
At least 1
years of hands-on, self-directed Model-Based Development using Matlab/Stateflow/Simulink
Familiarity with C, C++, Assembly languages
Must be highly self-directed individuals
Demonstrate excellent communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
Ability to use strong industry knowledge to relate to customer needs and dissolve customer concerns and high level of focus and attention to detail.
Strong work ethic with good time management with ability to work with diverse teams and lead meetings.

Desirable (not a must)

automotive diagnostics or (b) battery management systems or (c) safety-critical auto subsystems such as engine control, powertrain, vehicle steering/stability, etc.
Structured software design and code development methods (e.g. SPICE/CMMI)
Software lifecycles (development/deployment). Experience with CMMI level 3
Quality & Reliability disciplines (FMEA, 8D, APQP)
Major automotive microprocessors (Motorola/Freescale, Intel, STMicro). MEC55x .
Automotive network data structures, protocols, (e.g. CAN, GM LAN, FNOS, J1939)
HV battery systems experience
ISO-26262/IEC-61508
Hardware design experience
