w3r is looking for a Senior Telecom Administrator to join an industry leading Financial Services company located in Troy Michigan.Overview:
The role involves configuring, deploying, supporting, administering, monitoring, and analyzing telecommunications systems and infrastructure that facilitate voice network services. This encompasses managing software, vendor performance, call center support, performance monitoring, operations management with vendors, local and remote hardware/software installations, system support, troubleshooting, upgrades, capacity planning, project management, coordination, disaster-recovery planning, and administration of dial plans. The incumbent is tasked with ensuring the company's voice communications systems and networked services operate smoothly and efficiently, minimizing disruptions.Job
Responsibilities:
Undertake system administration duties for enterprise-level telecommunications systems, encompassing Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Cisco Unity voicemail, Cisco Presence, Cisco Unified Contact Center Enterprise, and Noble Systems. Provide end-user support by addressing move/add/change requests and trouble tickets within predefined service levels, utilizing ServiceNow as the primary management tool. Diagnose, analyze, and resolve alarms and issues with telecommunications systems in alignment with enterprise-wide Service Level Agreements. Execute deployments of new telecommunications voice systems and network services, along with upgrades to existing infrastructure. Develop comprehensive test plans for these implementations and upgrades, ensuring quality through meticulous testing. Participate in business continuity planning and testing exercises. Leverage expertise in telecommunications voice technologies to identify and deliver solutions that meet business requirements. Contribute to capacity planning and reporting efforts, as well as operational system maintenance tasks such as patching, proactive resets, and reboots to optimize operational efficiency. Establish, document, and maintain configuration standards and operational procedures for telecommunications voice systems and networks. Uphold compliance with relevant federal, state, and local laws and regulations, completing all mandatory compliance training. Stay informed about and adhere to the internal compliance policies and procedures, staying abreast of regulatory changes and policies.
Qualifications:
3-5 years or experience working with Cisco Unified Communications applications including:
