Intern- Sales Administrative Support (Troy, MI)

Flagstar Bank is looking for an intern to join our Marketing team over the summer.
As a Flagstar Intern you will have the opportunity to learn the daily functions and operations of our Mortgage department.
During this time, you will interact with team members and leaders to gain real-world experience by working alongside our team to learn our processes and improve efficiencies while expanding on the core concepts introduced throughout your college classes.
Throughout your internship you will participate in multiple engagement sessions designed to enhance your career outlook, communication skills, and business knowledge.
Responsibilities:
Scanning mortgage packages and uploading packages internal department audits check deposits and collections efforts with accounts receivable and Mortgage events.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education level required:
High School / High School Equivalency (GED, HiSET, TASC) / Foreign Equivalent Current student or recent graduate pursing a major in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, Business Administration, IT (select appropriate area of study), or related area of study required Business background is preferred Proficient with MSFT office especially Word and Excel Organizational and multitasking skills Recommended Skills Accounts Receivable Auditing Business Administration Business Management Finance Microsoft Excel Apply to this job.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
