Summary:
The Software Analytics Intern will work with our global and cross functional teams to analyze best coding practices to improve the user experience during workflow customization cross applications and research how to read and analyze scripts of multiple programming languages to get their inputs and outputs without running them.
You will identify candidate features and build the ML model which can be used to score tasks in various engineering applications, such as Altair Pulse, Hyperworks, SimLab, Compose.
What You Will Do:
Explore and develop concepts to analyze scripts without execution based on research.
Collaborate with software, customization and engineering teams to verify requirements and best practices.
Develop an initial list of feature candidates and ML module.
Present concept and progress to a larger audience for reviews.
Strong emphasis on end user research.
What You Will Need:
Basics:
Progress towards a Bachelor's / Master's degree in Computer Science, Analytics or related field.
Ability to research independently.
Experience with a scripted programming language like Python, Tcl, OML, Lua, etc.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Appreciation to work within a team.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a cross functional and multidisciplinary team.
