And if that's you we would love to have you join us! Job Description Reporting to the OEM Sales Manager, the OEM Account Manager will increase business and wallet-share in the Northeast Indiana (Fort Wayne, IN) and Southwest Michigan territory geography.
As the OEM Account Manager, you will lead the account strategy with preexisting accounts and organize internal Rockwell resources to design and implement automation solutions with your customer base.
Your
Responsibilities:
Establish executive level relationships within the customer base and understand customer processes, goals and organizational model.
Follow the Rockwell Automation sales process:
know your assigned accounts, plan for growth, maintain a healthy funnel, drive opportunities to closure and evaluates performance to goal.
Understand the industry (applications, standards/regulations, drivers and trends), the customer's organization and desired outcomes and Rockwell Automation offerings and delivery mechanisms and partner capabilities relevant to assigned accounts.
Provide application knowledge and industry expertise.
Manage sales activities according to Rockwell Automation's outcome-based selling methodology.
Collaborate with the North America OEM Segment Leaders.
Qualify customer opportunities, engages the appropriate resources and coordinate the solution design to influence the customer's decision process and present solutions to the customer (value proposition).
Bring the right resources to the table to influence the customer's decision process and present solutions to the customer.
Coordinate Rockwell Automation account team, senior management and a technical engagement team (domain experts) to plan for and win identified opportunities.
Maintain accurate assessment of target and opportunity funnel within the Dynamics Customer Relationship Management system.
Partner with corporate Contracts and Negotiations group to come to terms with customers.
Negotiate contract terms and conditions (T&Cs), pricing, discounts and allowances.
Obtain agreements and prices to support the proposal effort.
Support customer/internal account reviews.
Set and help manage internal/external partner expectations.
Ensure familiarity with company procedures.
Apply procedures in compliance with government laws.
Procedures include:
Standards of Business Conduct, Intellectual Property, Control Environment, Information Protection, ISO 9000 & 14000, government regulations (e.
g.
health, safety, quality and environmental).
Minimum
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or relevant equivalent experience Valid US Driver's License You can work within the United States without sponsorship.

Can travel up to 50% of the time within the Northeast Indiana & Southwest Michigan territory geography Preferred
