Job Description:
We are a seeking a Confectionery Assistant to join our team.
You will be responsible for working alongside the Head Confectionery Chef and assisting with producing all marijuana edibles.
The ideal candidate would have strong organizational skills, detail oriented, highly dependable, and has a passion for working hands-on in the cannabis industry.
Responsibilities:
Produce all products to be made in the daily occurrences of the kitchen.
Assist/complete all the tasks including but not limited to:
cleaning, stocking, production of edibles, trash disposal, working with the other cooks, meet with Collaborate closely with the Head Confectionery Chef on a daily basis Uphold edible scheduling and production plans Sustain a clean and organized operation/work environment Develop and maintain knowledge of cannabis infusions, pH Analysis, Moisture Analysis, as well as legal and safe edible producing treatment options Maintain a lean and orderly cooking station and adhere to health and safety standards
Qualifications:
Must be 21 years old Must pass a background check Confections or Culinary Technical Skill Understanding required Strong work-ethic Strong documentation, inventory, and organizational skills Strong collaboration skills Ability to learn quickly on the job Must be and remain compliant with any and all legal or company regulations for working in the marijuana industry Must be ServSafe certified or have an Up-to-Date Food Handlers Card or can get a Food Handlers card before the 1st day of Employment.
