Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome customers with a friendly and positive attitude.
Make sure each customer is made to feel welcome and comfortable.
Assist customers in choosing menu items, taking orders, and answering questions about the menu.
Accurately record customer orders, ensuring special requests and modifications are noted and communicated to the kitchen staff.
Serve food and beverages to customers, ensuring that orders are correct and timely.
Keep an eye on table turnovers to provide a smooth dining experience.
Be well-informed about the menu items, including ingredients, preparation methods, and daily specials.
Make recommendations to customers based on their preferences.
Maintain a clean and organized dining area.
Set and reset tables, and assist in general restaurant cleanliness.
