Responsibilities:
Quality Assurance Analyst sought for testing commercial banking programs.
This person will be responsible for manual test execution associated with conversion to new systems.
This person is expected to write test cases based on conversations with Business analyst and customer.
This person will be responsible for recording defects in assigned tools and gathering proof of test results as required.
Previous experience is required, banking industry preferred.
This person will work with business to develop unit, integration and User Acceptance testing criteria to confirm the delivery of changes occurs with the highest possible quality.
Expected
Experience:
3
years of experience in quality analysis or other analytic role, or 3 years of comparable agile development experience.
2 years of experience with software development methodologies (i.
e.
, Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, etc.
) and software process improvement methods Experience in automation testing preferred; automation will be used as possible during execution iterations.
Experience with banking industry and online banking software highly preferred Experience with system migrations and conversions preferred.
Experience with regulatory and compliance audit, policies and standards, preferred Skills Excellent knowledge in software quality assurance and system testing tools, such as Jira and Zephyr Ability to communicate verbally and non-verbally and in technical writing to all levels of the organization in a proactive, contextually appropriate manner.
Ability to translate technical and business requirements into test strategy and cases.
Proven strength in building, writing, and executing test cases.
Prefer skills in reporting on test execution and test completion.
Some experience with web services, executing calls and interpreting responses (SOAP and REST) Proficient in IT standards, policies and procedures Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to apply root cause analysis This position is intended to be onshore, but an offshore position may become available.
