Brown & Brown is seeking a Private Client Service Team Lead to join their team in Troy, MI!The Private Client Service Team Leader provides overall oversight of the Account Managers, manages a book of business, and supports the Personal Lines Leader on department projects and initiatives.
The individual must possess a strong working knowledge of personal lines insurance processes, compliance, and markets.
WHAT YOULL DO:
Lead a team consisting of 2-4 Account Managers Interview and hire, develop teammates, deliver performance feedback Manage a book of business consisting of assigned customers' insurance programs Establish, cultivate, and manage the customer relationship at multiple levels, serving as a trusted business advisor for assigned customers Analyze customers' needs and advise customers on the most appropriate insurance solutions Serve as final escalation contact for all Service matters Assign and monitor teammate work allocation Guide team in prioritizing work and achieving department goals, coaching and counseling as needed Explain work products internally to teammates and externally to customers as needed Assist in the development of training and cross training of new hires and BIT staff on the Service team's function, responsibilities, and subject matter Manage carrier relationships Satisfy licensing continuing education requirements Perform other duties as required/assigned WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience 5-7 years of experience in administrative role, insurance, or related field Michigan License 2-20 Proficient presentation skills Proficient with MS Office Suite oExceptional telephone demeanor Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality WHAT WE OFFER:
