SAP SCM Project Lead required for a large international client for a permanent opportunity based in Troy, MI.
You will be responsible for:
Regional Support of ERP application environment; enhancements, issue resolution, and process optimization. Defining, planning and organizing Supply Chain system project deployments and support upgrade processes Collaborating with related Business functions for execution strategies of project implementation Communicating status and accomplishments regularly to stakeholders, team members and Regional IS&S Manager Analyzing, defining and recommending business process improvement initiatives Prioritizing and assigning tasks to team members within project scope, resolving conflicts of resource availability, management of budget, and ensuring on-time completion Control operational and change management activities for Supply Chain. Collaborating with Supply Chain team to ensure standard system processes are in place in the plants
Successful candidates will have experience with:
SAP SD, MM Experience in PP and FI modules a plus Understanding of Lean Manufacturing concepts Skilled at understanding SAP MRP, supplier schedule releases & EDI flows Familiarity with Sterling Commerce Gentran Server, Axway and/or GIS a plus. Strong understanding of common application and infrastructure tools and systems. Strong understanding of Plant Systems and the integration to business strategy. Must be able to manage time and determine priorities
Excellent communication skills (English) and motivation to join a dynamic, international team is also important.
