##### Job Introduction
The role of the Warranty Analyst is to drive continuous improvement in warranty reporting, processes and procedures. Provide direct customer interface for conducting warranty part reviews, OEM Purchase Order corrections, claims investigation, customer warranty systems corrections/updates, customer rating/scoring system corrections/updates, and warranty cost recovery avoidance/mitigation. Provide standardized warranty reporting, to Customer and MPT Division(s), communicating performance relative to targets, and establishing action plans where needed.
##### Major Responsibilities
1. Proficient in disputing claims and resolving issues to diffuse/eliminate negative impacts, identifying alternative solutions and implementing fixes.
2. Fully versed in tracking OEM customer warranty information, report generation, financial accruals, estimate development, project scheduling, and use of Continuous Improvement Process tools.
3. Provide quarterly warranty accrual updates to Finance for all customers, based on customer warranty agreements, terms and conditions, specific issues and statistical forecasts
4. Ability to perform Weibull analysis, maintaining balanced scorecards in the multi-customer environment and comprehensive knowledge of different OEM applications.
5. Maintain and act as point of contact for all customer databases to ensure correct information is applied to MPT.
6. Work with supplier development quality engineers to ensure our expectations from suppliers are met to resolve Warranty issues.
7. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; able to build trust and foster close working relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization.
8. Practice and maintain integrity while following Magna's Charter and Constitution.
9. Create a positive work environment by demonstrating and sharing functional/technical knowledge.
10. Develop and maintain a cooperative working relationship with internal and external customers.
11. Promote and seek excellence in all aspects of business.

##### Knowledge and Education
Four year degree with related experience preferred in Manufacturing.
##### Work Experience
Five year data analysis experience with three plus years in warranty.

2. Knowledge of customers' trends, perceptions, needs and expectations.
3. Advanced statistical knowledge
