Duties:
Perform LAN/WAN debugging at complex level. Perform all Cisco routing configuration on all Cisco equipment. Monitor performance and maintain security of WANs. Assist in implementation of policies and procedures for LAN/WAN usage throughout the organization. Machine level programming and code maintenance of softswitches and rates/calls management software. Machine level programming and code maintenance for remote provisioning servers, PBXes and call routing platforms. Machine level programming and code maintenance for monitoring/graphing servers. Primary organizational representative with vendor and provide internal analysis and support. Upgrade and maintain Cisco and server equipment across LAN/WAN environment. Monitor all communication equipment in support of new product/process implementations. Documents all changes, upgrades, maintenance, procedures, etc. using the new document infrastructure. LAN/WAN traffic analysis and monthly performance reports of all network segments. Also recommends use of new products and services to senior management. Responsible for all remote users and router account terminations (passwords, etc.) when needed. Diagnose and repair problems, investigate system errors, and ensure user accessibility.

Minimum
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor - Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or a related field of study;
Experience: Three (3) years in the position above or in a related occupation;
Experience must include:
1) 2 years with Cisco routers and switches, UNIX (Linux/Solaris), and VoIP (SIP/H.323).
2) 2 years in the design, implementation, support, and management of complex LAN/WAN environments, including soft-switches such as Asterisk/FreeSwitch/OpenSIPs.
3) 2 years with SS7/ISUP, ISDN, and Frame-relay.
4) 2 years with network traffic analysis and protocol analyzers, including Ethereal, WireShark/TShark, Network General Sniffer, TCPDUMP, and ITA.
5) TCP/IP, EIGRP, and OSPF, and switching protocols, VTP, Spanning Tree, Port Security, and QoS.
Will accept equivalent foreign degree; will also accept a 3-year Diploma and/or any fully equivalent combination of education, training, and/or work experience.
