General
Summary:Responsible for implementing marketing and sales efforts. Develops new accounts and maintains frequent contact with current accounts to assess service delivery and customer satisfaction. Makes continued sales to assume continued market penetration, profitability and to reach volume goals for the organization.
Primary Responsibilities and Duties:
Makes sales calls to hospitals, municipalities and extended care facilities to sell ambulance and non-emergent van services. Handles follow up with potential customers and presents accounts in a timely fashion.
Maintains computerized database of all clients, sales and sales calls. Provides weekly sales and status report.
Acts as a liaison between accounts and Operations and Communications departments. Attends operations meetings at least twice a week or on an as needed basis. Identifies potential problems and help problem solve solutions with operations.
Contributes to ongoing market research by gathering information on hospitals, municipalities and extended care facilities in the area. Maintains market information files on all competitors.
Maintains market share, profitability and volume through continued sales efforts in accordance with the annual plans and budgets. Participates in budget planning meetings when indicated.
Maintains a thorough knowledge of company's services and programs. Remains current with trends in the emergency medical services industry.
Exhibits excellent customer service skills and behaviors toward internal and external customers and co-workers.
Adheres to department customer service, service excellence, and performance standards.
Demonstrates personal commitment to the Organization's core values through active involvement in the performance improvement process.
Demonstrates safe work practices and attitudes, follows safety rules, works to prevent unsafe conditions and behaviors, and participates in organizational and departmental safety programs.
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Required:
Minimum Education: High school diploma or GED. Prefer college degree.
Minimum Work
Experience: Two to three years of health care sales experience is preferred. Must be familiar with sales concepts and client relations approaches. Must provide a proven record of sales success.
Contact with Others: Must be able to communicate effectively with other departments and clients. Must promote a positive company image under all circumstances.
Analytical Demands: Must be familiar with all facets of Operations and Communications and demonstrate good customer relations skills. Must use good judgment when dealing with clients to solve account problems.
Certification, Licensure, Registration: Valid Driver's License in state of employ
Working Conditions:
Physical Effort: Some light lifting necessary. Occasional times when standing for long periods of time.
Work Environment: Office and in the car on the road conducting sales calls.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
